SunRider’s certified Divemaster’s will lead this tour in small groups. They’ll meet you upon check-in at the SunRider diving facility on the marina and after getting ready with the gear, you’ll take a short 5 to 10 minutes boat ride to the famous Land’s End. The ride itself is beautiful: it’s taken in a well-shaded, fully equipped, and custom-made dive boat, you’ll be able to see Lover’s Beach, the Sea Lion’s Colony, the famous arch, and the dramatic meeting point of the Sea of Cortez with the Pacific Ocean.
After arriving at the dive site, you’ll receive instructions from your divemaster about safety, communication, and gear. Your Divemaster will choose which dive site, considering the diving conditions and level of divers.
Some of the dive sites in the area are the following:
Land’s End
Located where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, this is an ideal spot to see schools of fish, barracudas, and manta rays, especially in the summer. Nearby is a colony of sea lions, and they may come up curiously to swim with you. There is also a shipwreck located about 24m deep where all kinds of incredible encounters with marine life occur.
North Wall
Consisting of a rocky slope where octopuses, crabs, sea urchins, lobsters, and moray eels live, as well as a wide variety of seahorses. In the depths of the wall, you can see white-tip sharks and manta rays.
Pelican Rock
Located just 20 minutes from Cabo San Lucas, this is suitable for divers of all levels. It has a sandy bottom and a sloping wall with various rock formations. Here you can find manta rays, goatfish, clownfish, parrotfish, some turtles, and playful sea lions.
